Stands, games and free activities on campus
Experience the heart of the Festival dell'Ingegneria: explore the associations’ stands and the children’s play areas
Rockets, drones, satellites, portable radio stations, catamarans, robotic exoskeletons and many prototypes to explore up close: at the Festival, the student societies and teams from the Politecnico di Milano’s international competitions bring all the energy of design, experimentation and teamwork.
With stands, demonstrations, games and interactive workshops, visitors will be able to meet students, find out about their projects and be amazed by ideas ranging from aerospace to biomedicine, from wireless communications to the fight against climate change.
A free, open event – no booking required – offering a glimpse into the youngest, most creative and dynamic side of engineering!
For younger children, meanwhile, there will be play areas available on both campuses: from building blocks to workshops featuring alternative techno music instruments, from water-based activities powered by a bicycle to fun, educational activities inspired by Leonardo’s genius.
POLI.RADIO, the official web radio station of the Politecnico di Milano, run entirely by students, will also be taking part with a workshop and guided tours of its studios on the Leonardo Campus.

15,000 participants, 170 events, over 200 researchers, 38 open laboratories, 50 public science outreach sessions: these are just some of the figures that sum up the 2025 International Engineering Festival.
Last year’s edition sought to draw attention to the term ‘INGEGNERA’ – a title that has only recently become official – in order to highlight the important contribution women have made to the development of science.
The Politecnico di Milano has always championed gender equality, whilst valuing the uniqueness of each individual.
